India, once known as Sindh or Bharat is the land of world’s greatest universities like Takshashila, Nalanda, Vikramashila, Valabhi, Pushpagiri and many more. One should never forget Chanakya and his Arthashasthra. Students from west travelled here to pursue their higher studies. India had rich heritage of innovations. When King Purushotam fought with Alexander, he had 80 thousand horsemen, 2 lakh footmen, 8 thousand elephants, 6 thousand chariots. Hampi was looted for 6 months by moghuls. All the gems and horses were carried away. Kohinoor diamond, the best proof is in the crown of queen Elizabeth. All the man power, food and material support for WW1 and WWII were supported from India to the British. India never ever once invaded any country for power or greed. So rich is our motherland India.
Once an economic super power with 35% GDP in the world became a country with GDP of 3%. Moghuls and British entered India to do trade later took control of the land and its people. Moghuls destroyed our ancient universities. British systematically looted and destroyed India by introducing the railways and an education system to make Indians as clerks and brokers. We missed the 1900 industrial revolution. With all these bitter histories, we are once again going to become an economic super power. All these are possible because we have rich resource and intelligent man power. Our children are the best not because of our British education system, but they are the best irrespective of it. If we provide a better education system to every child, they can do wonders of innovations. Let us all together build an environment for our children where they can think creatively and innovate.
